Responsibilities: As a Loan Consultant at Unifi Zambia, you will be responsible for:

  • Entering all new client details into the client registration system manually or electronically.
  • Receiving, assisting, and directing clients courteously, efficiently, and in a welcoming manner, projecting a positive and professional image.
  • Checking documents, informing applicants of additional requirements and documents.
  • Ensuring all loans are properly documented with accurate and complete information.
  • Maintaining client privacy and confidentiality throughout the loan process.
  • Interviewing applicants to collect information on their financial needs and providing advice on financial literacy.
  • Responding to customer questions and providing excellent customer service.
  • Ensuring conformity with credit policy.
  • Cash management responsibilities.
  • Marketing of Unifi’s services.
  • Providing clients with accurate information regarding products, promotions, and other value-added services.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A full Grade Twelve (12) certificate.
  • Diploma in Banking & Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Ability to work within the organization’s rules and regulations with excellent communication skills.
  • Capability to work in a target-driven environment with good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Strong multitasking abilities.
  • Motivational and commendable interpersonal skills.
