Join Our Team as a Sales Representative!

Role Overview:

As a Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in maximizing sales revenue by collaborating with distributors, dealers, and partners within your assigned territory. Your primary responsibility will be to achieve set targets by selling Vodacom’s products and services directly to customers through face-to-face interactions. Additionally, you will monitor stock levels, coordinate distribution activities, and identify opportunities for trade promotions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales and revenue targets through distributors, dealers, and partners within the assigned territory.
  • Implement sales and distribution activities to ensure continuous availability of Vodacom products.
  • Coordinate the distribution of branding and promotional materials to enhance visibility and build loyalty.
  • Identify trade promotion requirements and support promotional activities within the territory.
  • Monitor competitor activity and provide recommendations for action.
  • Support distribution partners in developing action plans and train them on Vodacom’s products and services.
  • Ensure implementation and maintenance of retail execution and distributor operating standards.
  • Provide regular reports on sales trends, dealer performance, and market intelligence.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • University degree or equivalent training in business or sales management.
  • Ability to work under high stress with short-term targets and objectives.
  • High level of integrity, work ethics, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Clean driving license and familiarity with Vodacom’s products, services, and pricing practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
  • Business acumen, goal-oriented mindset, and stakeholder management abilities.
