Job Description:

MTN Zambia is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to fill the position of Manager – IT Governance Audit and Security. As an integral part of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our IT systems and processes. Responsibilities:

• Reviewing information security related reports about systems.
• Coordinating all IT audits with internal and external auditors/partners.
• Coordinating with other divisions and departments in both information security and projects.
• Acting as the companywide contact/first responder for IT security incident reporting.
• Leading access management to ensure user account deactivation on all platforms for resigned/terminated staff alongside HR.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining security policies and procedures.
• Ensuring security compliance on all enterprise and IN systems.
• Providing input into the development and implementation of the information security strategy.
• Recognizing problems by identifying abnormalities and reporting violations.
• Implementing security improvements and assessing current situations.
• Conducting periodic audits to determine security violations and inefficiencies.
• Managing security monitoring tools, reporting on potential threats, and resolving incidents.
• Reviewing logs and security exception reports generated by security monitoring tools.
• Remediation of vulnerabilities on all enterprise systems.
• Custodian of IS Risk Register, anchoring the identification and resolution of IT related risks in the organization.

Candidate Requirements:

• Grade 12 certificate with 5 credits or better, including English and Mathematics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or related field.
• ITIL Foundation/COBIT 5 Foundations certification.
• CySA+, Security+, SSCP, CISA, CRISC, CISM, and CGEIT certifications are advantageous.
• 2-3 years progressive experience in Information Security Operations and/or Governance, Risk and Compliance.
• Exposure to implementing frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Experience in IT, managing Windows or Linux servers, IT governance, risk and compliance, or IT auditing.
• Must be a member of ICTAZ.
