About Vodacom Tanzania

Vodacom Tanzania is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Retail Operation Executive to join its team in Dar es Salaam. This position plays a crucial role in supporting and collaborating with franchise operators across all zones, with a focus on maximizing sales revenues, ensuring an excellent customer experience, and promoting awareness of Vodacom’s products and services.

Key Responsibilities

As a Retail Operation Executive, your key responsibilities and decision ownership include:

1. Maximizing sales revenues, particularly in data sales.
2. Ensuring the best customer experience in franchised shops.
3. Promoting awareness of Vodacom’s products, services, and promotions to walk-in customers.
4. Bringing in new quality connections to the Vodacom network.
5. Maintaining a good business relationship with retail business partners.

Core Competencies and Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• Good knowledge of Vodacom’s products/services and pricing practices.
• Strong analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent planning and communication skills.
• Relevant Marketing/Business Administration degree.
• At least 2 years of working experience in a sales environment.
• High level of integrity and work ethics.

Additional Information

• Implementation of Standards: Ensure the implementation, maintenance, and execution of franchisee operating standards across all zones.
• Documentation: Maintain documentation files for each shop, including franchise contracts, confidentiality documents, lease agreements, commissions, SLAs, etc.
• Reporting: Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on sales trends and the performance of all shops in all zones.
