State Mining Corporation (STAMICO) is a state owned enterprise which was reestablished in 2015 through the Public Corporations (Establishment) (Amendment) Order, 2015 with the aim of increasing the contribution of the mineral sector to the national economy and creating employment opportunities to Tanzanians.

To be a world class investor in the mining industry to contribute significantly to sustainable National development.
MISSION
Invest strategically in the mining industry, and provides quality technical services in partnership with private sector to accelerate industrialization in Tanzania.
