Founded in 2007, Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the the urban setting of the large city of Dar es salaam (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited/recognized by the Tanzania Commission for Universities, Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) is a small (enrollment range: 2,000-2,999 students) coeducational higher education institution.
Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
This 10 years old H.E. institution has a selective admission policy based on students’ past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 20-30% making this Tanzanian higher education organization a very selective institution.
