Role Overview:

As a Studio Intern/Volunteer at Amref, you will work closely with our creative team to support various design projects aimed at raising awareness, promoting advocacy, and enhancing communication efforts. You will have the opportunity to collaborate on a wide range of visual materials, including digital and print media, marketing collateral, social media content, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and production of creative assets, such as posters, flyers, brochures, infographics, and multimedia content.
• Contribute to the development of branding materials and visual identity guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas, conceptualize designs, and execute projects from start to finish.
• Support the maintenance of digital asset libraries and organizational branding standards.
• Assist with administrative tasks, such as file management, scheduling, and coordination of project timelines.

Qualifications:

• Enthusiasm for design and a keen interest in using creativity to drive social change.
• Proficiency in graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Prior experience or coursework in graphic design, visual communication, or related fields is preferred but not required.
